Lewis grew up in Cheriton and went to local schools and worked for local businesses in Cheriton and Alresford before going to university to study politics.He now works as a parliamentary assistant for a South East England member of the European Parliament.
As a keen environmentalist, Lewis wants to see significant investment into renewable energy for local businesses and houses. Also as a councillor he would work hard to ensure recycling rates are improved.
To help local people get around Lewis wants to keep rural bus services running and look into community car sharing schemes.
