ALDC Training Events in November

The South Central Development Officers and ALDC are pleased to be running three strands of key training for local party members to help in preparations for the May elections. Places can be booked by contacting the regional administrator at info@southcentrallibdems.org.uk. Please give your name, contact number and the session(s) you would like to attend.

This day long session is suitable for beginners or for anyone looking for a total refresh and will cover all of the key skills needed as part of the local election campaign including creating lists, prepping for door knocking, virtual phone banks and more. To make the most of the session you will need a laptop with the ability to connect to wireless internet (provided) and an ActionID. You will need to bring your own lunch. There is no cost for the training but booking is essential as it is limited to 12 attendees.
This is part of a 2-day programme, the second day of which will take place in early 2019. There are also plans to organise a 1 day & 2 evenings repeat of the course, again in early 2019.

This is a two part course with homework between the two sessions which will cover the basics of using PagePlus to create leaflets for your local party. You will need a laptop with PagePlus installed and the ability to connect to wireless internet (provided). There is no cost for ALDC members for the two sessions. For non-ALDC members it is £15 per session.
Agent Training - 12 & 20 November 19:00-22:00 @ Newbury Lib Dem Office, Suite 6, Thatcham House, Turner's Drive, Thatcham, RG19 4QD
This is a two part beginners/refreshers course with attendees required to attend both to be deemed to have completed the training. There is no cost for the training but booking is essential as it is limited to 12 attendees.
There are plans to organise further evening sessions in early 2019 to give further options to people unable to attend both November sessions. You can attend the sessions in any order.
