Liz Leffman and her team collecting signatures in protest at post office closures.
The campaign to prevent West Meon post office from being downgraded to a part-time outreach service is still being fought hard in the village.
Prospective Liberal Democrat MP for Meon Valley, Liz Leffman, was one of a number of Lib Dems from across the country who presented a national petition of more than 50,000 to Downing Street, calling on Prime Minister Gordon Brown to reverse the government's post office closure programme.
Liz Leffman said: "Our team in Meon Valley ran a very popular campaign to save our post offices, yet it has all been shoved back in our faces. However, we simply will not relent on our push to save West Meon post office being slashed to an outreach service."
